Hotfix Era Compatibility with Automatic Machines

Hotfix Era can export the created designs in different output formats, according to the kind of equipment for production, equipment models, and production method. Some output formats are included in the standard configuration while others are available as extra/optional features.

Vector/Cutter

The software can send the designs directly to vinyl and laser cutters (through the windows drivers provided by the cutter manufacturer) to produce rhinestone stencils. Designs can also be exported in vector graphic formats, compatible with other graphic applications.

Check the list of compatible equipment. Even when your equipment is not listed, it is likely that it is compatible if it comes with the appropriate windows driver provided by the manufacturer.

Vector Output is included in the standard configuration of Hotfix Era (no need to select any extra output add-on).

Rhinestone Machines

This group refers to both motif making machines (rhinestone motifs are produced on a transfer paper) and motif setting machines (rhinestone motifs are placed directly on the garment).

According to the machine brand and model (check the machine documentation), the designs can be transferred to the machine through:

  • USB Memory (mass storage device)

  • Direct Connection Cables (sending designs from the application)

  • Machine Manufacturer Driver (machine driver for windows required)

  • Machine Manufacturer Software (application to transfer designs to machines)

CNC/Router

The software can send the designs directly to engravers (through the windows drivers provided by the equipment manufacturer) to produce rhinestone stencils.

Check the list of compatible equipment. Even when your equipment is not listed, it is likely that it is compatible if it comes with the appropriate windows driver provided by the manufacturer.

CNC Router Output is not included in the standard configuration of Hotfix Era. It is available as an extra output add-on.

Sequin/Spangle Machines

This group refers to motif making machines (sequin or spangle motifs are produced on a transfer paper).

According to the machine brand and model (check the machine documentation), the designs can be transferred to the machine through:

  • Machine Manufacturer Driver (machine driver for windows required)
